Floyd Mayweather has walked back his decision to return to skilled boxing.
The 50-0 boxing legend quit the game after beating UFC superstar Conor McGregor in August 2017.
Since then, Floyd Mayweather has taken part in eight exhibition bouts against the likes of Logan Paul.

Floyd Mayweather: Manny Pacquiao rematch will probably be an exhibition
Floyd Mayweather has three fights lined up in 2026, but a rematch with Manny Pacquiao is the largest.
The long-time rivals, who fought in 2015, are expected to run it back on the Las Vegas Sphere on September 19.
Mayweather provided an update about his highly anticipated second fight with Pacquiao on Saturday.
“The Sphere is one in all the places that they’ve talked about,” he told Vegas Sports Today.
“We don’t know if it’s one hundred pc gonna be there.
“This is definitely not a fight, it’s an exhibition.
“We’re gonna do it again and hopefully entertain the people.
“You realize, I’ve got one other exhibition with Mike Tyson also, and one other exhibition in Greece.
“If I’m just sitting at home, figuring out on daily basis, and spending time with my grandson and spending time with my children, why not exit, have slightly fun, entertain, and placed on some exhibitions?
“That’s what I’m gonna do.”
Floyd Mayweather announced his return from retirement
In February, Floyd Mayweather announced his intention to return to skilled boxing in 2026.
“I still have what it takes to set more records in the game of boxing,” he said in a press release.
“From my upcoming Mike Tyson event to my next skilled fight afterward, nobody will generate a much bigger gate, have a bigger global broadcast audience, and generate extra money with each event than my events.
“And I plan to maintain doing it with my global media partner, CSI Sports/FIGHT SPORTS.”
It was expected that his rematch with Manny Pacquiao would count toward their skilled records.
Mayweather’s latest update suggests something has happened behind the scenes in the course of the past month.
