Love Overboard was all about formed connections — but which couples are still dating and who has broken up?
The dating series, which premiered on Wednesday, March 26, was hosted by Gabby Windey and followed an idea where “ingles board a lavish yacht searching for romance, but accessing its luxuries comes with challenges,” based on the synopsis.
“As they navigate love and betrayal on the high seas, just one pair will emerge victorious,” read the remaining of the outline for the Hulu series, which filmed in June 2025.
Within the penultimate episode, there have been eight pairs remaining because the contestants needed to vote who was essentially the most compatible couple. Those couples included Tim and Gia, Lexi and James, Delaney and Keif, Christine and Jake, and David and Val. The three couples eliminated were: Reece and Sofia, Enna and Andrew, and Leela and Koray.
The finale surprised Us with Delaney and Keif self-eliminating as James and Lexi — and Tim and Gia — forged their vote for David and Val. Meanwhile David and Val voted for Tim and Gia while recent couple Christine and Jake decided to vote for themselves to finish their time on the ship.

Gia and Tim received essentially the most votes and have become the winners against James and Lexi and David and Val. The prize was a $100,000 trip all over the world but did Tim and Gia stay together? In accordance with social media, Tim and Gia still follow one another on social media and appear on good terms but their exact relationship status remains to be unclear.
Val, meanwhile, took to Instagram to handle her time on the show.
“Hey everyone, I do know there’s been a variety of curiosity about what happened after the show. I appreciate everyone’s interest, but I’m asking for my privacy while I process things in my very own time. I’ll share my story once I’m ready, and on my terms,” she wrote. “Until then, I hope we are able to all respect one another’s journeys without attempting to sensationalize them. Thanks guys for all of your love and support.”
Before the show premiered, Windey reflected on her approach as host, telling Bustle, “I’m just attempting to hype up the ladies as much as I can. Dating in the true world, we know the way often women fall victim to f***boys. I need to remind them, ‘Girl, you’re so hot. Act prefer it. Make them work for it.’”
She concluded: “I actually have favorites. I can’t help it. I’m very opinionated. I’m like, “Are you sure you ought to go along with this guy?” I need to guide them, like, “Girl, [pick] this one. But to them, I attempt to be very objective and keep my expressions under wraps, [though] I don’t know if it’s ever working.”
Love Overboard is currently streaming on Hulu.
