Megan Thee Stallion has officially broken her silence after she was recently hospitalized while starring in Broadway’s “Moulin Rouge!” The Grammy winner took to social media to offer her fans an update on her health.
Megan scared fans when it was confirmed that she had been faraway from the show mid-performance and transported to a neighborhood hospital.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, April 1, Megan Thee Stallion spoke on to her concerned fans after she left her role because the Zidler in Broadway’s “Moulin Rouge!” on account of abrupt hospitalization.
“Last night was an actual wake-up call for me,” the rapper began. “I’ve been pushing myself past my limits currently, running on empty, and my body finally said enough. It truthfully scared me. I assumed I used to be gonna faint on stage. I actually tried to push through my performance, but I just couldn’t.”
“Hotties, I wanna be real with y’all since you mean every thing to me and I hate letting y’all down,” Megan continued before revealing when she plans to return to the stage.
“I just need at some point to rest, reset, and care for myself the best way I must have been.. I’ll be right back on that stage Thursday, stronger, clearer, and prepared to offer you 100% the best way you deserve. Thanks for all the time riding with me and loving me through every thing,” she wrote.
Megan Thee Stallion Sparked Fan Panic After Being Rushed To The Hospital

While acting on stage on Tuesday evening, March 31, Megan Thee Stallion left through the middle of her performance and was rushed to the hospital.
Following the incident, Megan’s rep, Didier Morias, spoke exclusively to The Hollywood Reporter. “During Tuesday night’s production, Megan began feeling very sick and was promptly transported to a neighborhood hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated,” Morias told the outlet.
Because the scary situation unfolded in real time, theater officials addressed the audience through the pause within the show, asking them to “stay inside and seated.”
When Megan exited the performance to receive medical treatment, an understudy stepped in to perform for the remaining of the show.
The rapper’s hairstylist and shut friend, Kellon Deryck, also confirmed the incident on social media.
In his post on X, formerly often called Twitter, Deryck asked the general public to place Megan Thee Stallion of their prayers, writing, “Everyone say a prayer for Megan, we’re all on the hospital.”

Per Billboard, on February 26, Megan Thee Stallion was announced as the most recent performer to hitch “Moulin Rouge!” because the over-the-top Zidler, described because the “impresario of the titular nightclub.”
Her limited eight-week run began on March 24 and can conclude on May 17.

“It’s a really bad time to be my hater lol I’m EVERYWHERE,” Megan wrote on social media.
While lots of her celebrity fans showed her love across social media platforms, there have been also those that were lower than thrilled with the news.
“Checks the calendar to make sure that we didn’t jump forward to April 1st without me noticing,” someone shared, while one other called the move “so unhinged.”
