Vijay Thalapathy Addresses Jana Nayagan Delay, Karur Stampede

Addressing a crowd in Trichy, Vijay Thalapathy said, “I don’t have to inform you how all of the parties have come together to oppose your Vijay. As many said, the conspiracy across the Karur incident, and the proven fact that my final film, Jana Nayagan, couldn’t be released…What if it made our close-to-heart relationship even stronger? And what if that film became a robust weapon within the elections? As a brother, son, as your Vijay, I would like justice.”

He reiterated his earlier stance about stepping away from a lifetime of comfort to face with the people. “I actually have come here for you, though I actually have an opulent life. I’m coming only to repay your gratitude and bear all of the pain,” he said, adding, “I won’t ever lie or deceive you. Do you would like (current CM M. K. Stalin) Stalin, who works against people, or Vijay, who works for them? That’s all this election is about.”

During his address, Vijay also described the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government as an ‘evil force’. He urged voters to remove it from power within the upcoming Assembly elections. Marking his political debut, he can be contesting from the Perambur and Trichy East constituencies.

About Jana Nayagan

Meanwhile, Jana Nayagan, directed by H. Vinoth, was initially slated for a Pongal release on January 9 as a grand send-off for Vijay’s film profession. Nevertheless, despite heavy promotions by KVN Productions, the discharge was postponed attributable to delays in CBFC certification. The film stars Mamitha Baiju, Pooja Hegde, and Bobby Deol. It’s reportedly an adaptation of Bhagavanth Kesari. Based on the producers, it was initially expected to receive a UA 16+ certificate. Nevertheless, it was later referred to a revising committee after objections were raised over certain scenes.
