Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal Opens Up On Long Working Hours In TMKOC Sets
Actors often highlight how long working hours can take a toll on their physical well-being. When asked if similar conditions existed on Asit Modi’s sets, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal shared, “Shuru mein bahut long hours the. Shuru ke 6 mahine keh lo aap, 6 mahine se ek saal. Humne toh kuch hi time kiya hai. Matlab maine joh maximum kiya, foremost aapko bol rahi hoon, ki ek baar 20 hours humne shoot kiya hai. Then uske baad 6 ghante mile, jismein humko ghar pahunchna hai, nahana-dhona, khana-peena, sona and wapas se. Aisa maine ek hi baar kiya hai. Baaki 12–13–14 ghante toh bahut baar hua hai.”
She continued, “Disha (Vakani) karti thi bahut baar. Matlab, you realize, 30-30 ghanta usne kaam kiya. Toh yeh sab toh tha, lekin haan abhi dekho, abhi aisa kya hai, foremost yeh nahi bolungi ki ismein Asit Modi ji ki hi galti hogi. Kyunki abhi usko ek alag perspective se dekhu toh mujhe samajh mein aata hai ki you never know, un tak woh baatein pahunchti hi nahi hai.”
Jennifer Reveals Poor Hygienic Conditions On Asit Modi’s Sets
Further speaking about poor hygiene on sets, Jennifer added, “Hum jaakar production walon ko bol rahe hain ki hum khana kha rahe hain aur cockroach aakar baith raha hai. Hum baithe hain yahan se cockroach nikal raha hai. Bathroom ja rahe hain toh joh vanity mil rahi hai woh poori gandi. Bathroom mein hum kaise baithein? Humare bathroom mein poore jaale lage the. Matlab foremost aur Sonalika (Joshi) apne haath se saaf karte the, jhaadu laake kitni baar. Hum log apne haath se parde theek karte the. Bathroom tak saaf kiya hai. Par woh baat un tak pahunchti nahi thi.”
Further talking about Asit Modi’s response, she added, “Kyunki woh ek level pe pahunch gaye the jahan unko lagta hoga ki kya foremost bathroom saaf karane baithunga? Unhone joh logon ko bola tha, woh log baatein aage pahunchne nahi dete the. Yeh humein baad mein samajh aaya. Kuch cheezein shayad ignore bhi hoti thi. Jaise ek baar maine Asit Modi sir ko bola tha ki vanity mein bahut cockroach hain, smell aa rahi hai, khana bhi nahi khaya jaata. Toh unhone kaha tum akeli kyun bol rahi ho, baaki log bol rahe hain kya? Tab mujhe realise hua ki foremost hi bol rahi hoon, baaki koi bol hi nahi raha. Phir maine bhi bolna chhod diya aur sab chalta raha.”
Jennifer Says Ladies Ko Gandi Vanity Milti Thi
Revealing about poorly maintained female vanity vans as in comparison with male vans, Jennifer added, “Sach yeh hai ki sabse gandi vanity ladies ko milti thi aur gents ko best, superstar vanity milti thi, yeh fixed tha. Aur usmein bhi kabhi-kabhi teen-teen log ek vanity share karte the, jaise bhed-bakri. Par humne accept kar liya tha ki chalo theek hai, kya hi kar sakte hain. Phir ek time aata hai jab lagta hai ab aur nahi seh sakte. Lekin foremost wapas show mein aayi thi toh chhod bhi kaise deti? Fir dheere-dheere comfort zone mein chali gayi thi ki jaane do, daant pad rahi hai, khana bhi okay-okay hai. But, theek hai.”
