On Thursday, MMA’s premier promotion announced an exciting fight had been added to UFC 328.

Former 170lb Bellator champion Yaroslav Amosov will make his second Octagon appearance on the Prudential Center next month.

Oleksandr Usyk‘s sparring partner kicked off his UFC profession by choking out Neil Magny in December.

Amosov’s reward is one other very tough fight against welterweight newcomer Joel Alvarez.

The previous lightweight contender outpointed Vicente Luque in his 170lb debut last October.

Whoever wins Amosov vs. Alvarez will almost actually fight ranked opposition after UFC 328.
