‘Anthony Gordon remains to be a young lad and he has to think about his future on a base of stability and repay the trust that he’s got from his manager,’ Saha said.
‘His tournament on the World Cup may change and speed up slightly bit. I might like to see a bit more consistency from him, but I might like to see him at Manchester United as well.
‘He’s definitely an enormous asset. I’d prefer to see him play at the best level for 2 seasons, then join a club like United and have a huge impact.’

While Saha would ‘love’ to see Gordon move to Old Trafford, he views his England teammate Jude Bellingham as his ‘dream signing’ for the Red Devils.
‘My dream summer signing for Manchester United can be Jude Bellingham,’ Saha told Ozoon. ‘It’s a crazy idea, but he has every part.
‘I’d absolutely like to see it. His athleticism is, I feel, one of the best on the earth. He’s in a position to play in lots of roles, including number 8 or number 10.

‘He has a way of leadership, he’d definitely be a pacesetter, a bit like Bruno Fernandes in some ways. He’s definitely in that bracket of world-class players.
‘All these qualities can be amazing for United, and I feel he’d like to return to England and play within the Premier League. So, it will be a dream.
‘Obviously, players like Bruno Guimaraes or Sandro Tonali are perhaps more reachable and definitely in a position to do an important job for us.
‘Additionally they have leadership and aggressiveness, but are they in a position to play many roles and rating goals as well? But United have found a sort of balance, and people players would improve it.’
On Manchester United’s marked improvement under his former teammate Carrick, Saha added: ‘We are able to all see how they’ve improved and so they can start enthusiastic about the Champions League next yr now.
‘They’ve momentum and stability. All the things appears to be in place. They’re facing good teams and sometimes decisions haven’t gone their way, but Michael Carrick is saying and doing the suitable things, let’s hope that this continues.’
After an unusual 24-day hiatus in the course of the international break, Manchester United finally resume their Premier League campaign on April 12 against Leeds United.
