Following his withdrawal from UFC Saudi Arabia at the tip of June, Khamzat Chimaev is seemingly back in good health as a video emerged of him utterly brutalizing a Russian influencer.
Khamzat Chimaev was scheduled to tackle Robert Whittaker within the UFC Saudi Arabia important event on June 22, but just every week out from the fight, he withdrew due to yet one more debilitating illness.
Following his withdrawal, comments were made by UFC CEO, Dana White, that it’s hard to take care of the 30-year-old due to his continuous health problems and the indisputable fact that he cannot enter the U.S. due to visa issues.
Khamzat Chimaev seemingly back to health as he brutalizes Russian influencer
‘Borz’ is seemingly over his recent illness as he has been training atop of mountains together with his team, possibly preparing for a fight at the tip of October, in Abu Dhabi.
Not only that, however the UFC middleweight has been accepting challenges from influencers, as a video emerged yesterday of him brutalizing LITVIN, inside an MMA cage.
LITVIN has over 12m subscribers on YouTube and over 15m followers on Instagram and was challenged to spend a minute within the cage with Chimaev, without quitting.
Notoriously, it’s former UFC middleweight champion, Sean Strickland, who’s most well-known for putting beatdowns on influencers and personalities outside of MMA. Strickland has previously inflicted similar damage on American streamer, Sneako and much more recently, sparred a former Navy Seal.
The Russian influencer admitted that he suffered a broken rub in the course of the lickings, despite it seeming as if Chimaev only went semi-power on him.
Within the video, Chimaev drops the YouTuber inside five seconds and continues to reign down heavy shots to the ribs. LITVIN someway makes it back to his feet, which was probably a nasty idea, because he was then met with much more hellacious body attacks.
Khamzat Chimaev’s expected return to the UFC
Although Chimaev’s health status hasn’t been confirmed, it is probably going that the 30-year-old is aiming to return at UFC 308, which is scheduled to happen in Abu Dhabi on October 26.
UFC lightweight champion, Islam Makhachev, is the front-runner to headline the event, in what is going to likely be a rematch against Arman Tsarukyan.
‘Borz’ could also be hoping that his fight against ‘The Reaper’ will be rebooked following Whittaker’s impressive win over his June 22 alternative, Ikram Aliskerov.
Nevertheless, the previous middleweight champion admitted following his win, that he desires to compete at UFC 305, which takes place in Perth, Western Australia. Dricus Du Plessis is scheduled to defend his middleweight title within the important event against former champion, Israel Adesanya.
It’s unclear whether Chimaev will have the ability to accumulate a visa to fight in Australia, but when he could, it might make a whole lot of sense, as his fight against Whittaker may very well be the indicator of who will challenge for the title next.
