After spending years on the sidelines, British boxing legend Tyson Fury is all equipped for his comeback fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov. Recovered and back from a tricky phase, Fury is now arguably in the perfect shape of his profession and training frequently.
In an interview with Casino.org, boxer Andy Ruiz Jr. weighed in on the clash and shared his final verdict on the upcoming boxing match (quotes via DAZN). “I believe they’re two big strong guys, but I see Tyson Fury boxing him around. I’ve seen them fight in Saudi Arabia, too. If Fury hits him within the body, I believe he’s going to beat him. He’ll knock him out within the eighth round.”
“I believe he still has a likelihood. But no person knows when their time is up. Only God knows your timing and where your mission and your purpose is presupposed to go,” Ruiz Jr. continued.
“I believe if Tyson Fury loses this, he’ll probably get more motivated and he’ll be training even harder. But, from the experience that he’s already had, with the drugs, been up and down, the retirement, and now coming back, that might play a toll on his profession. We’re only getting older, but hopefully, he overcomes this, and he wins, and he picks me to fight next.”
Ruiz Jr. is widely known for handing Anthony Joshua his first loss and securing the WBA, IBF, and WBO titles in 2019. One of the vital popular boxers, the Mexican-American boxer, has yet to fight a match since 2024.
“The Gypsy King” is about to tackle Makhmudov in a heavyweight showdown on Apr. 11, 2026, and the fight is scheduled to stream continue to exist Netflix.
