The remarks sparked a robust backlash online, with actor Ajaz Khan reacting sharply. He didn’t hold back, calling out Samay’s comments and warning him to “show respect.”
Ajaz Khan LASHES OUT On Samay Raina For Joking About Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek
Reacting to the viral clip, Ajaz Khan lashed out on the comedian. “Now what should I say about this ill-mannered man? Does he confer with his parents like this too? Amitabh Bachchan sahab has entertained India for a long time, and today anyone says anything about him, his wife and his son,” he said during his recent interaction with paparazzi.
He added, “Samay Raina, tera samay kharab shuru ho gaya aaj se. Don’t even are available in front of me. I’m an enormous fan of Bachchan sahab, and lots of fans are searching for you immediately. Learn to behave with respect.” Issuing a stern warning, Ajaz further stated, “Don’t put your hand all over the place. Not every hole has a rat, sometimes there’s a snake that may bite. Amitabh Bachchan ke ‘A’ mein hi teri zindagi nikal jayegi—do not forget that.”

The controversy began after Samay Raina, in a recent YouTube stand-up set, made a joke involving Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. “I had this considered asking Amitabh Bachchan—sir, you’ve done so many polio ads, then why couldn’t you make your son stand on his own feet? But I didn’t say that there. As an alternative, I told him my grandmother is a giant fan of yours,” he shared.
He also admitted to lying on Kaun Banega Crorepati. He said, “I had told him on the show that my grandmother watches KBC, but the reality is, she passed away seven years ago.”

In the identical set, Samay joked about how Amitabh Bachchan may need reacted after seeing him within the news. “He will need to have seen it. He’s very energetic on Twitter. He liked me loads after I met him. But when he saw me on TV later, he will need to have thought I’ve achieved something big. Perhaps he called everyone—Abhishek, Rekha, Jaya, Aishwarya—‘Come see this guy,’” he said.
