Crysencio Summerville injury update ahead of West Ham vs Wolves | Football

Nuno Espírito Santo is hopeful Crysencio Summerville might be available to begin for West Ham United of their Premier League clash with Wolves tonight.

The previous Leeds United star has been in effective form this season with seven goals and 4 assists in 27 appearances.

His run of 4 goals in 4 games in January and February helped the Hammers give themselves a fighting probability of their bid to avoid relegation.

With seven games of the campaign to go, the east Londoners are still in the underside three in 18th place but are only some extent behind Tottenham (seventeenth) and three adrift of Nottingham Forest (sixteenth).

West Ham can move out of the relegation zone with victory over the league’s bottom side Wolves on the London Stadium tonight.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference on Wednesday afternoon, Espirito Santo said: ‘He’s (Summerville) improving.

‘Cry, JC (Jean-Clair Todibo) and Callum Wilson are all improving, so we’ll see. We still have tomorrow to evaluate, and we’re positive that they could be available.

‘Dinos [Mavropanos] is obvious of the concussion protocol, which is nice. Aaron [Wan-Bissaka] is back with us, and he’s working well.

‘A number of of our players are recovering after Sunday, since it was a troublesome game, that went to extra-time, but it surely mainly was just fatigue, so we’re positive.’
