Vince Russo has taken aim at Roman Reigns over his absence from the most recent WWE RAW mere days away from WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
The OTC1 was nowhere to be seen on this week’s show as World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk spoke about their impending showdown.
On a recent edition of his “The Brand” podcast, Russo blasted Reigns for being missing, and is uninterested in hearing Punk talk at length on TV. He said,
“I’m so uninterested in hearing freaking CM Punk’s promos. Like, okay, bro, we get it. I understand. You’re a 60-year-old rebel. I understand. I get it. Like, what number of freaking times? After which, perhaps I missed something. Where was Roman Reigns yesterday? Where was he? Like, what’s Roman Reigns doing that he can’t appear on the show every week before Mania?”
Reigns can be present on next week’s episode of WWE RAW, which is able to function the ultimate episode of the red brand before WrestleMania 42.
Reigns earned himself a title match with Punk at WrestleMania by winning the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble match, marking Roman’s second Rumble win.
The 2 will headline Night Two of WrestleMania 42, making Punk the most recent member of an elite club (which incorporates Reigns) to headline each nights.
