Chris Jericho is once more All Elite.
Jericho has officially re-signed with AEW, agreeing to a brand new multi-year extension that, in keeping with sources, was finalized over the past several months. Specific details of the deal remain unclear, as Jericho has largely kept negotiations private, though Tony Khan has confirmed the length of the agreement.
Jericho’s previous contract had been set to run through 2025 but was prolonged on account of time he spent away from the ring. During that period, WWE reportedly expressed interest in bringing him back for a retirement run, and Jericho himself had indicated late in 2025 that he can be open to a return. Nevertheless, there was an expectation that WWE would want him to cut back or end several of his outside ventures.
Fightful Select is reporting that inside AEW, there was considerable curiosity amongst talent regarding the terms of Jericho’s latest deal, though few details have surfaced.
As for his on-screen presentation, the usage of “Jericho” as a standalone name is claimed to be at his own request, though he continues to be expected to be known as “Chris Jericho” at times on television.
