Over the past few days, fans have been speculating whether Carlos Ulberg and Israel Adesanya are still friends and teammates.

And with him having turn into the nineteenth light heavyweight champion, fans picked up on the proven fact that he hasn’t been congratulated online by his longtime teammate, Israel Adesanya.
It’s time to settle the controversy! Was Jiri Prochazka taking mercy or was it just simply bad fight IQ?😬 Tell us your thoughts!
Carlos Ulberg and his team usually are not completely happy with Prochazka’s claims that he ‘took mercy’.
Eugene Bareman comments on speculation of Ulberg and Adesanya feud
Following Ulberg’s title win, fans picked up on the proven fact that ‘The Last Stylebender’ was one in every of the one fighters at City Kickboxing to not congratulate him publicly.
This led to fans digging deeper and realizing that the pair not follow one another on Instagram, further adding to the speculation.
When Ulberg fought Dominick Reyes last September, Adesanya allegedly left the world before the fight and didn’t post his response to the fight on his YouTube channel as he did with the opposite fights.
Despite the continuing speculation, though, coach Eugene Bareman has attempted to squash the speculation, stating that the pair have been training together ahead of their recent fights.
“No, no (that’s not a difficulty in camp),” Bareman told Ariel Helwani on the Ariel Helwani Show.
“The boys trained together leading as much as this camp, they trained together leading as much as Israel’s fight. Look, in any gym there’s all the time gonna be times whenever you’re bumping heads with people, I’ve had people sparring and training together they usually find yourself in a full blown fist fight.
“They don’t dap up and make friends until two weeks later. We usually are not playing chess or chequers, things occur, it’s a physical and emotional sport, but yeah, the boys are all good.
“The boys are getting on fantastic… They train together they usually were civil with one another through the camp it looks like whatever had happened is behind them they usually’ve moved on.”

Adesanya is currently on a disappointing 4 fight losing skid, but despite calls for him to retire, the 36-year-old is adamant that he’s going to proceed fighting in the game.
