WWE President Nick Khan recently addressed the pricing of tickets for the corporate’s WrestleMania 42 pay-per-view event while speaking on the SBJ CAA World Congress of Sports convention in Los Angeles, LA.
Discussing WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Khan emphasized that ticket costs are ultimately driven by market demand reasonably than internal pricing decisions. He noted that WWE stays confident heading into this 12 months’s show and believes that it has a robust probability of approaching — and even surpassing — the record-setting success of WrestleMania 41. He said,
“We’re feeling good. Last 12 months we set records, which we set the 12 months prior to that. So this 12 months we predict it’s going to get near that record, but fingers crossed…”
He added, “The marketplace dictates the ticket price.”
Throughout the same event, Khan confirmed that WrestleMania 43 will still be happening in Saudi Arabia. He said,
“We’re doing WrestleMania next 12 months in Saudi. First time ever, WrestleMania will likely be outside the USA or Canada, and we’ve had a giant, fruitful partnership with them. After we go, it doesn’t should be only here. Our fans will tune in… irrespective of where we go.”
