They’ve warned that their anti-piracy team is actively tracking and can take motion against offenders. This incident follows the recent leak of Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, which sparked shock and anger amongst fans and industry insiders.

Several distinguished industry figures condemned the leak and called for strict measures against those responsible. Now, the Tamil film industry faces yet one more blow as footage from Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 has also surfaced online. The production team has issued an announcement requesting audiences to not flow into the viral clip.
As reported by Deccan Herald, an announcement from Sun Pictures read, “We would really like to bring to your attention that a video clip from the sets of Jailer 2 is currently being circulated on social media platforms. Our anti-piracy team is actively monitoring the situation and can be taking vital motion to remove such content, including initiating measures against accounts involved in sharing or promoting these clips.”
“We kindly request members of the media and fan clubs to refrain from using, sharing, or reposting this video, as a way to avoid any potential suspension or restrictions on their accounts. Please note that the production won’t be held liable for any such actions taken or for retrieving the accounts,” the statement added.

This marks the second leak within the Tamil industry after Jana Nayagan. The State Cyber Crime Wing of Tamil Nadu Police announced that it had cracked the case. They arrested three more individuals in reference to the leak. Detailing the crime, authorities explained, “The predominant accused was working as a contract assistant editor for an additional film. He unlawfully accessed the reels of Jana Nayagan on the editing studio and stole them. The stolen data was then edited right into a movie and shared with co-accused.”
