‘This Is F****** Ridiculous’ – Rhea Ripley Goes Off On Toxic Fans Ahead Of WWE WrestleMania 42

At times, the IWC will be cruel in its criticism of WWE products and other wrestling shows. Recently, Rhea Ripley, who’s slated to face Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 42 for the WWE Women’s Championship, slammed toxic online fans.

During a recent appearance on the “Pod Meets World” podcast, Mami went off on individuals who say harsh things to wrestlers, claiming they’re heels. The previous WWE Women’s World Champion said,

“The thing about social media—it almost parrots something like wrestling. If you happen to’re a human being—but you’re not, since you’re a personality—people think they’re allowed to say whatever they need about you. However it’s like, no—that’s not how it really works. They’re saying things about you, regardless that they think they’re talking about your character.”

“After some time, you go, ‘That is f***** ridiculous. None of that is real.’ Literally. It’s the worst when fans are like, ‘I don’t mean it—I’m talking as a heel, I’m being a heel.’ Like… okay? You don’t receives a commission to be a heel. Twitter is free—you’re literally just being a d***.”

“If you happen to’re a heel in real life, you’re just an a**hole. You’re not on this wrestling bubble—you’re looking into the bubble. You’ll be able to’t just say you’re being a heel.”
