Former UFC star Mark Hunt issues an announcement on his domestic violence arrest

Heavyweight fan favorite Mark Hunt has opened up about his recent run-in with the law.

‘The Super Samoan’ spent the night in an Australian prison after being charged with domestic violence earlier this week.

Mark Hunt is accused of “stalking or intimidation with intent to cause physical harm” after he allegedly texted a death threat to a female relative.

Mark Hunt: “I didn’t lay a hand on anybody.”

On Friday, Mark Hunt shared a four-minute video addressing his recent domestic violence arrest.

“Needed to talk on my DV charges as numerous this hate towards,” he captioned the X post.

“Everyone makes mistakes and in every partnership people argue u take your partner with all their faults or walk away u don’t put them in jail or keep a record and weaponise it against them.”

Hunt claimed to have gotten right into a ‘heated argument’ together with his partner about an ongoing lawsuit against the UFC.

The 52-year-old stressed that he never physically assaulted anyone while venting his frustration concerning the situation.

“I wanna speak on this domestic violence s— they’ve placed on me,” Hunt began.

“It’s kinda sad because, within the situation, there was clearly no violence.

“We got right into a heated argument a couple of filing in a lawsuit we’re doing, like the opposite times now we have argued about it. We argue about it, we go away, sort it out, fix it, and carry on.

“Every couple argues. Everyone has the identical issues, but you shouldn’t record or take a record of your partner after they’re offended.

“It’s frustration. After all, it’s frustration. As long as that person doesn’t touch you, put a finger on you, and that’s what’s happened here. Not an individual was hurt. I didn’t lay a hand on anybody. I just got frustrated. We got right into a heated argument and I left.

“Yeah, people have made mistakes. I’ve made numerous mistakes. Nobody’s perfect. Nobody’s Jesus.

“What’s sad here is, not many individuals make a record about what’s happened. That’s why I feel sort of sad about it. Quite a lot of these texts are getting used retroactively. they aren’t even a part of what happened here a pair days ago. They’re just being brought up from the past of somebody making a tab.”

What’s next for Mark Hunt?

Mark Hunt is currently out on bail after agreeing to a series of strict conditions.

A no-contact order forbidding the Latest Zealander from contacting his alleged victim is in place.

In accordance with reports, Hunt’s attorney has claimed his client will likely plead guilty to the charge.

Hunt’s case will next be heard on the Ballina Local Court, in Latest South Wales, on April 30.
