The UFC boss has provided his response to Khamzat Chimaev signing for the soaring Freestyle Wrestling promotion.

Because the starting of the 12 months Real American Freestyle Wrestling have been ramping up their coverage and so they have signed several exciting stars from the UFC.

Most notably, Arman Tsarukyan has been using the RAF Wrestling mats to remain energetic while he awaits his next challenge within the premier MMA promotion, and this past Saturday, he competed again, beating Urijah Faber.

Through the event in Philadelphia, the promotion announced that they’ve surprisingly signed UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev to a deal.

Dana White reacts to Chimaev’s RAF signing

Initially it seemed as if UFC boss Dana White was okay with the thought of his fighters competing in wrestling and grappling promotions.

The one thing the promotion doesn’t allow is energetic fighters competing against one another, because the UFC have continued to dam a possible wrestling match between Tsarukyan and Colby Covington.

Despite that, following UFC Winnipeg this past Saturday, the UFC boss was asked for his response to RAF signing Chimaev to a deal.

“Who signed him to a deal?” he initially asked when he discovered in regards to the news.

“Oh yeah, okay. Good for them. I hope it really works out for them, yeah,” he continued.

‘Borz’s’ RAF debut date and opponent is about to be announced in the approaching weeks by the promotion.

Chimaev has been an interested observer of RAF over the previous few months as his teammate, Tsarukyan has been competing under their banner several times.

The Chechen is scheduled to make the primary defense of his middleweight title this coming May 9 when he takes on Sean Strickland within the UFC 328 most important event in Newark, Recent Jersey.

Ahead of their highly anticipated clash, White has revealed that one a part of the standard pre-fight buildup won’t happen as a consequence of the risks involved due to Chimaev and Strickland’s rivalry with one another.

Strickland has made a daring prediction that he’ll outbox Chimaev for 25 minutes, despite the priority that Chimaev will dominate him along with his wrestling for nearly all of the fight.
