A brand new backstage update has surfaced regarding Brock Lesnar.
WWE WrestleMania 42 (Night Two) kicked off with a singles bout between Lesnar and Oba Femi. In under six minutes, Femi overpowered the 10-time World Champion and sealed the win with a powerbomb.
Following the loss, Lesnar remained seated within the ring before removing his gloves and boots and leaving them behind — an act often viewed as an indication of retirement in combat sports. He then shared an emotional embrace with Paul Heyman.
In accordance with a report from Fightful Select, there had been an internal expectation inside WWE that Lesnar would retire on the 2026 SummerSlam pay-per-view event.
