In a video posted by the Mumbai Indians on social media, Siraj jokingly quoted a preferred dialogue from the film Dhurandhar, teasing Bumrah by saying:

“Ghar ki yaad nahi aayi tujhe, Jassi?” (Didn’t you miss home, Jassi?). Bumrah responded in a playful manner, teasing Siraj about getting a haircut. The 2 then shared a warm hug after their light-hearted exchange.

The 2 share a powerful bond, having often bowled together for India across formats. After the 2024 T20 World Cup final, where Jasprit Bumrah delivered a powerful spell of two/18, Mohammed Siraj had praised him in a post-match interaction, saying, “I only consider in Jassi bhai, he’s a game-changer,” a remark that later went viral and was also referenced within the video.
