Weeks after the primary look was shared online, a photograph supposedly taken on the film’s set—showing Allu Arjun in full costume with fur and claw details—began circulating. While initially creating buzz amongst fans, it was later confirmed that the image shared on a fan page on Instagram was AI-generated content.
The photos of Allu Arjun with director Atlee were posted with a disclaimer. It stated, “Warning: All images shown were created using artificial intelligence.”
Fans have drawn comparisons between Allu Arjun’s look and people of Suriya and Karthi. The pictures and official poster have sparked vigorous discussions, with many noting similarities to other larger-than-life cinematic characters.
Some identified the resemblance to Karthi’s fierce, tattooed, bald, and bearded appearance in Kaashmora, together with similar body armour. Others compared the look to Suriya’s avatar in Kanguva, which also featured fur detailing on the costume. A number of even teased that the look resembled villainous characters from the Baahubali franchise.
There are also rumours that Shah Rukh Khan might make a cameo appearance in Raaka. Although unconfirmed, the Bollywood superstar’s energetic promotion of the film has fueled speculation about his involvement.
