[WATCH] Rishabh Pant pulls off stunning one-handed leap to dismiss Yashasvi Jaiswal in LSG vs RR clash

Rishabh Pant, the captain of LSG, took a tremendous one-handed catch to finish Yashasvi Jaiswal’s innings during their IPL 2026 match on Wednesday, April 22. LSG won the toss and decided to bowl first on the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

Mohammed Shami gave LSG an early breakthrough by dismissing Jaiswal within the third over. Before getting out, the left-handed batter attacked Shami and hit three consecutive fours. But Shami bounced back on the fifth ball with a brief delivery.

Jaiswal tried to play a hook shot, however the ball barely touched his glove and went towards Pant, who dived and grabbed an excellent one-handed catch. Jaiswal scored 22 runs off 12 balls before getting out.

Mohammed Shami was in great form with the brand new ball. After Yashasvi Jaiswal got out, Dhruv Jurelgot here in to bat at No. 3 and was greeted with a superb delivery. Shami bowled it on a great length around middle stump.

The ball moved away barely, caught the skin fringe of Jurel’s bat as he tried to defend, and went to Rishabh Pant behind the stumps, who accomplished the catch. With this, Shami took two wickets in two balls, and Jurel was out without scoring (golden duck).

RR lost three wickets in the course of the powerplay. Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 8 runs off 11 balls before getting out to Mohsin Khan within the fourth over. Digvesh Rathi took a great running catch after Suryavanshi mistimed a lofted shot. Rajasthan reached 44 for 3 in the primary six overs.
