Jack Jenkins reportedly withdraws from Marwan Rahiki matchup at UFC Perth attributable to injury

Earlier today, Australian MMA reported that per sources, Jack Jenkins has withdrawn from his featherweight matchup attributable to an injury.

The Aussie was set to tackle Marwan Rahiki, who broke Harry Hardwick’s jaw last month to win his UFC debut and a Fight of the Night bonus.

Australian MMA added that there isn’t any word as of yet on whether a alternative shall be found with a view to keep Rahiki on the cardboard.

The reported bout order posted by Marcel Dorff for UFC Perth had Jenkins facing Rahiki within the third of six foremost card matchups on May 2.

After Jenkins was put in intensive care following a submission loss in Sydney, he bounced back with a win over Ramon Taveras on the last event in Perth last September.

‘Phar’ has gone 4-2 contained in the Octagon since making his debut in 2023 following a knockout win on Dana White’s Contender Series the yr prior.
