WWE held one other round of talent cuts on Friday.
Amongst those released were Alba Fyre, Zoey Stark, Joe Gacy, Bo Dallas, Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Andre Chase, and Nikki Cross. As well as, the Motor City Machine Guns, Santos Escobar, Zelina Vega, Aleister Black, Kairi Sane, and others.
Additional releases included Tyson Dupont, Tyriek Igwe, Chris Island, Tyra Mae Steele, Sirena Linton, Trill London, Malik Blade, and Luca Crusifino.
Notably, Zoey Stark had recently been medically cleared for an in-ring return prior to her release. Several of the affected talents were in Las Vegas for WrestleMania 42 weekend appearances and meet-and-greets before the choices were made.
To make clear, Angelo Dawkins has not been released. A recent social media post from him led to speculation, nevertheless it was not related to his status with the corporate.
There have been also several talents absent from SmackDown this week, though that doesn’t necessarily indicate their status.
Most of Friday’s moves were outright releases. Most important roster talent typically receive a 90-day non-compete period, while NXT talent are subject to 30 days. In cases where contracts are simply not renewed, they expire with out a non-compete clause.
This distinction is price noting, especially given past instances — equivalent to Drew Gulak — where contract expirations were framed otherwise despite creative plans having been discussed beyond the deal’s end.
