Nidhi Shah Opens Up On On-Set Struggles During Her Anupamaa Journey
When asked about what were the challenges she faced during her acting journey, Nidhi Shah shared, “It depends from situation to situation. Kabhi-kabhi 10 page ka scene aa jata tha aur woh aadhe ghante, ek ghante mein aapko prep karna hai. Subah ek itna bundle aa gaya hai, and quickly, quickly, it’s your scene, it’s your take, you may have to do it.”
Nidhi continued, “Aapko karna hai aur jaldi karna hai performance. Aur loud hota tha, ekdum rona hota tha, then itna kuch heavy attire pehen ke you may have to be ready. So woh challenges hote the—only a small challenge that I remember.”
Nidhi Shah Opens Up On Long Working Hours In Anupamaa
Further talking about long working hours in Anupamaa, Nidhi said, “Jaane ka time hota tha subah ka, wapas aane ka koi time nahi hota tha. You don’t know kab pack-up ho. Kabhi-kabhi toh bahut jaldi pack-up ho jata hai, kabhi-kabhi bahut late hota hai. Like kabhi 12:00 baj jaate hain, kabhi 2:00 baj jaate hain, kabhi 11. It’s nothing fixed. Jab tak aapka kaam khatam nahi hota hai, you’ll be able to’t go home.”
The actress concluded, “But to be very honest, yeh mera pehla aisa show raha hai jahan pe important kabhi bore nahi hui hoon. I never got bored of it, I enjoyed every little bit of it. So yeah, TV mein aisa hai ki cut-off date nahi hai koi—you may have to go on and on and on since it’s a each day soap. Each day television pe dikhana hai, toh us according kaam bhi each day hota hai.”
