Will Kroos made his WWE NXT debut on the April 28 episode of NXT on The CW, and it seems only a few people contained in the company knew it was coming.
Bodyslam+ is reporting that only a small group inside NXT was aware of the debut, including NXT management, producers, and the talent directly involved within the segment. The gang and even commentator Vic Joseph were visibly caught off guard.
The debut happened during a segment that already had plenty occurring. EVIL and Tavion Heights each confronted NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo within the ring. After EVIL had his face-off with D’Angelo and left, Heights got here in and hit the NXT Champion with a belly-to-belly suplex. That’s when Kroos made his entrance and landed a moonsault, leaving the group genuinely surprised.
Kroos is an eight-year veteran of the UK independent wrestling scene and a former PROGRESS Atlas Champion. He has been an everyday fixture for PROGRESS Wrestling and RevPro, and he also accomplished a tour with Pro Wrestling NOAH that ran from November 2025 through mid-January 2026.
Following the debut, PROGRESS Wrestling took to social media to congratulate Kroos and called him a component of their family. As of now, WWE has not given Kroos an official ring name on television, as he was not referred to by name through the show.
