Fabio Capello has tipped Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee to go away Old Trafford this summer and return to Serie A with AC Milan.
Zirkzee has struggled to make an impact at United since his arrival from Bolonga for £36.5million two summer ago.
The Dutch striker has began only 4 Premier League matches this season, and has scored a meagre five goals in his 52 league appearances across each seasons.
The arrivals of Benjamin Sesko and Bryan Mbeumo last summer saw Zirkzee tumble further down the pecking order, with the 24-year-old widely expected to go away this summer searching for regular first-team football.
And former England manager Capello desires to see Zirkzee return to Italy, urging Milan to make a move for the striker as a possible substitute for Rafael Leao.
‘If I were Milan, I’d make the swap immediately,’ Capello told Gazzetta. ‘I’d see the Dutchman as a a lot better slot in Max’s 3-5-2.
‘Zirkzee is someone who gets the team playing and is superb at communicating along with his teammates.’

Capello continued: ‘For me, the Zirkzee-Pulisic partnership could be good.
‘If Sorloth and either Gimenez or Nkunku were alternatives, one could say the attack is in fine condition.’
Zirkzee was injured when Michael Carrick was installed as interim head coach, but has played just 39 minutes under the Englishman.
The forward is predicted to be one in all several United players made available for transfer this summer because the Red Devils plot their latest rebuild.
Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund could see their loan moves to Barcelona and Napoli made everlasting at the tip of the season.
Andre Onana, who has also been out on loan, is unlikely to win back his place in goal, given the shape of Senne Lammens and could possibly be sold.
And elsewhere, the club will reportedly take heed to offers for Manuel Ugarte, whose only start under Carrick got here within the 2-1 defeat to Leeds United.
