Gary Neville has identified the ‘horrible’ game that might cost Arsenal the Premier League title.
Arsenal, chasing a primary league title since 2004, moved six points clear at the highest of the table with an emphatic 3-0 win over Fulham on Saturday.
Viktor Gyokeres gave the Gunners an early lead on the Emirates Stadium and scored again on the stroke of half-time after Bukayo Saka had doubled Arsenal’s lead.
Mikel Arteta’s side didn’t boost their goal difference any further within the second half but a snug victory still piled the pressure on title rivals Manchester City.
Man City have two games in hand to try to close the gap on title frontrunners Arsenal, the primary a potentially tricky away game against Everton on Monday night.
Neville expects Pep Guardiola’s team to scale back Arsenal’s lead on the Hill Dickinson Stadium and says all eyes will then be on the Gunners and a London derby against West Ham on the weekend.
Arsenal are 17 places and a whopping 40 points above West Ham within the Premier League however the Hammers have improved in recent months to spice up their survival hopes.

‘I watched Arsenal last night and dissatisfied is the fallacious word but Mikel Arteta may be considering that they might have scored a pair more and whether or not they might regret that,’ Neville said on his Sky Sports podcast.
‘But he’ll be completely happy with the win and he has to remind the players to take their possibilities and be clinical and ruthless. Those are the messages he will probably be giving I imagine.
‘They can’t sit back now in games, they should keep going. I feel Man City will beat Everton nevertheless it could be absolutely stunning in the event that they were to drop points there, it might be stunning.

‘I don’t think it’ll occur. It’s an enormous week because I feel the sport Arsenal are most definitely to drop points in is West Ham away.
‘That’s the sport they need to fear most. It’s a horrible one because West Ham are fighting for his or her lives and want the points.’
Jamie Carragher, meanwhile, was impressed by Arsenal’s performance against Fulham and said it ‘actually’ puts more pressure on Man City as they travel to Merseyside.

‘Arsenal were incredible,’ Carragher said. ‘I feel it’s the perfect they’ve searched for some time, perhaps since they beat Tottenham within the north London derby.
‘They were helped just a little bit by Fulham but they appear energetic and it was big by way of helping the goal difference as well.
‘They didn’t look fatigued or drained or nervous which they have of late but again, a few of that was all the way down to how poor Fulham were.
‘We’ll see the way it plays out but it’s actually put just a little bit on Manchester City now who’ve a tricky game against Everton.
‘I feel Man City will win that nevertheless it might come all the way down to goal difference now so just winning won’t be enough.’
After facing West Ham, Arsenal’s final two Premier League fixtures are against already-relegated Burnley and Crystal Palace.
Manchester City, meanwhile, face Brentford, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Aston Villa as they seek a seventh Premier League title since 2018.
