In his latest YouTube video, Maven gave high praise to Shelton Benjamin and stated that he’s never heard anyone say anything negative about him. He said,

“Now, we’ve talked about how backstage politics can negatively affect a profession. But there, there’s a flip side of that coin, and for that, I offer you Shelton Benjamin. Now, wait. Before you begin, ‘Maven you think that Shelton got what he got due to politics?’ Under no circumstances. I’ve never met anybody more athletic than Shelton. I’ve never met a greater guy, someone who’s just smiling on a regular basis. But I do know that the WWE all the time knew each time they gave Shelton a belt, whether or not it’s a tag title, or during his singles run because the IC Champion, or later after they released him, he was easy to bring back. A part of the rationale is because I never met anybody that disliked Shelton. I never met anybody that didn’t respect Shelton. I actually have never met one individual that has one negative thing to say about Shelton Benjamin. If you’re liked by everyone, even the office, it makes it easy for promotions to occur. Again, I’m not saying that’s what helped give Shelton the push he deserved. But I’m also not saying it hurt.“

During a recent interview with DAZN, UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett expressed his desire to do a crossover with WWE. He said,

“Yes, I actually have considered that to be honest. I actually have because I used to like the WWE growing up. Shawn Michaels, The Heartbreak Kid, is my favorite fighter. I’d like to Sweet Chin Music someone within the cage within the UFC. D-Generation X, after I was even younger, X-Pac was my favorite wrestler. So yeah, I might. WWE pays big money as well, and also you’ve got to have a personality, you’ve got to have a personality, and I’ve got a personality, so it might work. So yeah, Triple H, for those who ever desired to sign me up, just let me know I’ll make an appearance for some money.”
