Martin Keown says he would favor Arsenal to fulfill Bayern Munich within the Champions League final.
Arsenal secured their place in Budapest on May 30 with a 1-0 win at home to Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.
Mikel Arteta’s side must now wait to search out out who they may meet as Bayern host Paris Saint-Germain within the second leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday evening.
PSG currently have the advantage after an exciting 5-4 victory over Bayern on the Parc des Princes last week as either side
Arsenal were knocked out by PSG within the Champions League semi-final last season, while within the league phase this term, Arteta’s side sealed a formidable 3-1 win at home to Bayern in November.

When asked who he would reasonably Arsenal play within the Champions League final later this month, Keown told talkSPORT: ‘Do you realize, I feel I would love to see Bayern Munich, actually.
‘They’ve already played one another, it was a 3-1 victory, and by some means I feel Arsenal may need a greater probability.
‘With PSG, they’re just remarkable in the way in which they play. The philosophies of each managers are the exact same.
‘If we were playing in a game and we conceded 4 or five goals, our philosophy might change a bit bit, we won’t be so keen to maintain attacking, but this lot just keep going. It’s top-of-the-line games I’ve ever seen. We’re probably going to see the identical again.
‘But I’d similar to to see Arsenal… it could be ironic if Arsenal, with all of the criticism they’ve taken for his or her variety of football this season, and by the way in which they’re playing some football now, they beautiful well run the show for an hour last night, Atletico just sat in deep, couldn’t get the ball.’

Keown also dismissed suggestions that Arsenal’s players got carried away of their celebrations after the club reached their first Champions League final since 2006.
‘There’s nothing won yet, you’ve won a high-profile game, it’s been a powerful evening, the perfect atmosphere the stadium has ever seen, it’s yet another step towards success, it’s about rest, recovery and fascinated about the weekend,’ Keown said.
‘Nobody is getting caught up – definitely not me. how cautious I actually have been throughout the season. There’ll still be twists and turns within the Premier League, let me inform you.
‘I feel in case you’ve gone an entire season within the Champions League without losing a match, it’s almost two competitions, you play eight games within the league then it goes to a knockout, seven games in case you reach the ultimate, I feel you may applaud that.
‘I feel they needed that energy, this team needed to feel a bit little bit of celebration, but they boxed it off, I saw the players, already after the match it was very relaxed, nobody’s going big time, that was for the fans, that was to thank the fans on the night, the atmosphere was incredible, they needed a payback, there’s a greater bond now between the fans and the players. It’s one other step but nobody’s getting carried away at Arsenal, let me inform you.
‘That is the primary season since Arteta has been there where I backed them to win it, they usually still haven’t done that.
‘And with Pep [Guardiola] within the constructing, there’s a lot of speculation, will he be here or won’t he? Is he not even responding to that to create this extra energy and this drive for his team? Bernardo Silva has been a tremendous servant and he’s going as well so it creates that final hurdle.
‘I bristle on the bottling claim because I feel it’s insulting. It definitely wasn’t around in my day. And in the event that they go on and win the league and Champions League this 12 months, in actual fact I’ll take considered one of those trophies, I don’t think that could be said about this group ever again.’
