West Ham might be in no mood to offer their London rivals a lift, though, as they’ve a relegation battle on their hands.
The Hammers are a degree adrift of safety and would like to pile the pressure on Tottenham by leapfrogging them with a win over Arsenal.
Spurs play on Monday night once they host Leeds and might be under far less strain in that fixture if West Ham are still below them.
