Daniel Garcia is chargeable for keeping the peace when things get heated throughout the AEW locker room, in response to fellow AEW star Kevin Knight.
In a recent interview on the “Virtual Gimmick Table,” the AEW TNT Champion was asked who’s the peacekeeper backstage and named Garcia. He said,
“Daniel Garcia of course. He’s the peacemaker. He knows the best way to mitigate situations, imagine it or not.”
AEW has had a difficulty with keeping the peace backstage, because the incidents involving CM Punk in September 2022 and August 2023 culminated in his release.
Knight has held the TNT Title since AEW Dynasty in April, where he defeated Garcia within the finals of a 10-man Casino Gauntlet match to win the vacant gold.
On the newest episode of AEW Dynamite, Knight challenged Darby Allin for the AEW World Championship but did not win the gold.
