Jonathan Coachman and Vince Russo recently discussed a possible reason why Triple H may not like WWE legend The Rock. During a recent episode of “The Coach & Bro Show,” Coachman revealed that each Hunter and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson had issues with one another back within the day. Based on Coachman, Triple H doesn’t like The Rock due to jealousy. The previous WWE commentator said,
“Last night, as I watched that roast, there’s quite a lot of underlying truth to quite a lot of those zingers that they throw at one another. They usually were savage last night. And I mean, savage last night. It jogged my memory of the connection between Triple H and The Rock that we watch him in Unreal, don’t we? They’re buddy-buddy. And I got to ask Rock this. And I got to ask Rock that. Once you and I each know, ’cause we’ve been behind the scenes. I’ve stood within the room. Rock doesn’t like him. Triple H doesn’t like him. But I don’t think it’s ’cause he has issues with Rock. I feel it’s ’explanation for jealousy.”
To this, Vince Russo agreed by saying, “No, absolutely. And jealousy plays a giant part in wrestling, man. An enormous part in wrestling. Huge part in wrestling.”
Coachman’s Hot Take On LA Knight’s Current WWE Run
In the course of the same podcast, The Coach stated that he thinks LA Knight is completed in WWE. Coachman said,
“Guys, it is a hot take: I feel LA Knight is completed within the WWE. He wasn’t there last Monday night; he hasn’t been utilized in any of these things. I feel that, for whatever reason, whether he’s just done coping with Triple H and getting yelled at, or he makes an excessive amount of money and so they got here to him and said, ‘We wish you to take a pay cut.’ Since the word on the road is, it was quite a lot of talent, not only the Recent Day.”
“And I feel that’s what the Recent Day did; they said, ‘We’re sitting around.’ Yes, you need to earn quite a lot of money, and that’s vital, but sometimes the talent that’s been there, done that, they’re like, ‘I can’t give away one other yr or two, I’m getting older, and I can’t wrestle every week. I would like to do that now.’ LA Knight is 43; he can’t wrestle each week once you’re 43.”
