Rahul Vaidya, Aly Goni Defend Alia Bhatt Amid Cannes 2026 Trolling

Singer Rahul Vaidya and Aly Goni have publicly come to the defence of Alia Bhatt after she faced trolling over her appearances on the Cannes Film Festival 2026. Alia, who represented India and a world beauty brand on the event, recently became the topic of online criticism following a viral video from her red carpet appearance.

Within the clip, Alia was confidently walking the Cannes red carpet as international photographers captured her look. Despite this, some social media users mocked her, alleging she was not receiving enough attention or recognition from the international media. The actress faced online trolling after a video from her Cannes appearance went viral, with some claiming she was not getting the deserved highlight.

Rahul Vaidya took to social media to deal with this. He wrote, “Funny how people sitting with zero achievements grow to be fashion critics, Cannes analysts, and global PR experts overnight. At the least Alia Bhatt is on the market representing India on one in every of the most important global platforms, looking absolutely stunning, owning her space, and making her presence felt.”

He further added, “Not every moment needs screaming crowds and manufactured hype to validate someone’s value. Real stars don’t beg for attention—they carry it naturally. The obsession some portals have with tearing successful women down for clicks is truthfully embarrassing now. Negativity gets views, but talent, labor, and beauty at all times outlive low-cost headlines. She looked beautiful. She IS an enormous star. And most significantly, she’s talented enough to not need validation from Instagram comment sections. Possibly as an alternative of always attempting to humble successful people, learn to understand Indians shining globally.”

Aly Goni also voiced his support earlier this week, sharing his thoughts on social media. He posted, “It’s sad when our own people try to drag down someone who has worked so hard to place India on the worldwide stage.” Praising Alia for her representation, he added, “As a substitute of mocking and trolling, we must always have a good time and support those that make India shine internationally.”
