Dess Dior Addresses Rumors About Cosmetic Surgery
Earlier this week, Dess Dior took to her Instagram Story to point out supporters how rehearsals have been going for her ‘Take Notes’ tour. Within the videos, she appeared alongside her background dancers, showcasing their choreography.
Because the clips made rounds online, supporters immediately began reacting to her appearance. One commenter wrote, “Dess tell me at once the way you grew that!!” One other joked, “Desereee? Destiny??? Dessert??? I begggg what’s all that back thereeee.” While reacting to the chatter, one fan said, “Baby Dess went and got on that table?” But Dess quickly shut the rumors down, responding, “I didn’t tho. I might’ve got my stomach too shidddddd.”
Dess Dior Calls Out Critics For Being Hyper-Fixated On Women’s Bodies
Over on Snapchat, Dess Dior continued to clock comments about her body and weight. One person asked the rapper, “Wait when did you get this thick? Did you may have work done?” In her circulating response, Dess reportedly said, “Yall be irritating af. I been thick, I’m grown af & I gained weight! I just don’t shake my butt for y’all to see how thick I’m lol.”
Dess Dior also appeared to handle the continued conversation in one other video.The rapper shared her thoughts on people consistently criticizing and overanalyzing women’s appearances online.
“Don’t y’all think y’all hyper-fixate on women’s bodies an excessive amount of? Like physical appearance period. Y’all at all times discuss any individual face features, any individual arms, any individual feet, any individual thighs, any individual a**, any individual’s stomach. Y’all at all times hyper-fixate on every detail a lady has on her body,” she said.
Dess Dior continued by explaining that folks often assume women had surgery each time their body changes naturally after gaining weight. The rapper also spoke about how women are criticized either way, whether or not they stay natural or determine to get work done. She later credited eating more for her recent weight gain, sayin. “Prefer it’s sick. But hey, I don’t know what the science is behind it. It’s just annoying. I’m thick. That’s just what it’s. I ate loads. You wanna gain weight, eat. Like unbelievable.”
