Young fast bowler Kartik Tyagi received useful guidance from star pacer Jasprit Bumrah after the Kolkata Knight Riders vs Mumbai Indians match at Eden Gardens on Wednesday. Mumbai Indians’ disappointing IPL 2026 campaign continued with their ninth defeat of the season, but after the sport, the main focus shifted from competition to learning.

Bumrah was seen having an in depth discussion with the Uttar Pradesh pacer, sharing advice on learn how to improve yorkers. In a video posted by Mumbai Indians on social media, Bumrah suggested that Tyagi should practise yorkers within the nets when his body is most drained.

In accordance with Bumrah, this helps bowlers adjust to the physical pressure of delivering accurate yorkers through the death overs.

Aside from sharing useful bowling advice, Jasprit Bumrah also gifted Kartik Tyagi his signed jersey. Delighted after meeting the star pacer, Tyagi posted on Instagram, “Within the frame with the GOAT.”

Kolkata Knight Riders stayed within the playoff race with a vital four-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians in a low-scoring match at Eden Gardens. After selecting to bowl first, KKR delivered a disciplined performance to limit MI to 147/8, with Sunil Narine and Cameron Green impressing on a difficult pitch.
