Shields also referenced her 2021 MMA fight, saying she competed shortly after having stitches removed and felt unfairly criticized for the consequence. She also questioned MVP’s branding around women’s boxing, criticized how the organization promotes and labels fighters, and threw shots at Jake Paul’s boxing record and public persona.
