The Carolina Hurricanes responded to their disappointing Game 1 loss within the Eastern Conference Final with a dramatic victory, ensuring they might not travel to Montreal facing a frightening two-game series deficit.
Hurricanes forward Nikolaj Ehlers scored a pair of goals on Saturday night, including the dramatic additional time winner early in the additional frame, helping Carolina secure an exciting 3-2 additional time win over the Montreal Canadiens and even the series at one game each.
