Utami Hayashishita is back in STARDOM, mere days after the favored Japanese wrestler finished her time as a part of the Marigold Wrestling roster.
Hayashishita made her return in the course of the Nighter In Korakuen event, confronting Saya Kamitani, of their first face-off since Utami’s STARDOM farewell in 2024.
Hayashishita left STARDOM in 2024 and joined the debuting Marigold. She headlined the inaugural Marigold event and is a former Marigold World Champion.
Hayashishita finished her time with Marigold last week on the Shine Without end anniversary show, which celebrated two years of the promotion.
In an announcement, STARDOM President Taro Okada discussed Hayashishita’s return and what he expects might be next for her.
“I don’t think she’ll appear anywhere apart from us (STARDOM). We’ll watch closely from here and make a choice… She desires to wrestle in STARDOM, so she’s not an invader. What she does any more is what’s most significant. If she desires to go even higher, then let’s go there together. Let’s go take the very top of the pro-wrestling world.”
