Although the IPL final between the Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Sunday lacked a closely fought contest, the celebrations that followed brought plenty of pleasure and joy. A viral video from the festivities shows RCB stars Krunal Pandya and Virat Kohli dancing to energetic dhol beats on the team hotel.
The clip starts with Pandya, holding the trophy, showing off his dance moves as drummers play within the background, before Kohli joins in and adds to the celebratory atmosphere. You may watch the video here:

One other video from the celebrations soon went viral on social media. After hitting the winning shot, Virat Kohli turned toward the stands, made a gesture in someone’s direction, and cupped his hand to his ear, sparking curiosity amongst fans concerning the message behind the celebration.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Defeat Gujarat Titans to Secure IPL 2026 Title
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) secured a historic victory within the IPL 2026 Grand Final, defeating the Gujarat Titans (GT) by five wickets on the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, May 31. A disciplined performance with each bat and ball allowed the franchise to say consecutive Indian Premier League titles.
RCB captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and elected to field first. The choice paid off because the Bengaluru bowlers maintained a strict line and length. Opening bowler Josh Hazlewood dismissed Jos Buttler early for 12, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar removed Gujarat captain Shubman Gill for 28.
Sai Sudharsan offered resistance with a gentle 42 off 34 balls, but spinner Krunal Pandya choked the run flow, ending with excellent figures of two/24. A late cameo of 31 runs from Rahul Tewatia pushed the Titans to a modest total of 158/7 of their 20 overs.
Patidar and Kohli Anchor the Chase
Chasing a goal of 159, RCB established a firm foundation. Veteran opener Virat Kohli anchored the innings with a composed 46 off 38 balls, while Phil Salt provided early momentum with a rapid 24 runs. Despite a temporary fightback from Rashid Khan, who claimed two quick wickets for 28 runs, Rajat Patidar ensured a smooth finish.
Patidar played a captain’s knock, remaining unbeaten on 52 off 35 deliveries. He hit the winning runs within the nineteenth over to guide RCB to 161/5, sealing back-to-back championship titles for his team.
