The reveal comes after the Persona 6 series director told fans to “stay tuned for more updates” in June last 12 months, when the corporate also announced Persona 4: Golden Revival.

The Persona 6 trailer didn’t give us much, and while the series is at all times dark, it looks to be delving into the horror genre greater than previous games.

Persona 6 Has Finally Been Announced

More time has passed between Persona 5 and the reveal of Persona 6 than another mainline games within the franchise. There have been three years between Persona and Persona 2, seven years between Persona 2 and Persona 3, only two between 3 and 4, after which eight between Persona 4 and Persona 5.
