“Then that’s type of where Nashville got here in, and we had to fulfill in the center. Um, because I didn’t need to move all the way down to Florida. It’s too removed from my family for me. But Nashville was type of the midpoint for us, and he desired to get out of Florida as well.”
“He was living in Florida for like 10 years, and I also wanted a change of scenery. In order that’s when Nashville got here in. And we lived there for six years together. We built a life there together. After which obviously I had to maneuver back to Jersey because I’m a Jersey girl through and thru. But yeah, it began at a flea market in Pennsylvania.”
Sheamus’ Comments On WWE Attitude Era Called Out
A couple of weeks ago, The Celtic Warrior shared his honest tackle the legendary Attitude Era. Nevertheless, Vince Russo didn’t like Sheamus’ remarks. In an episode of his “The Brand” podcast, the previous WWE author said,
“I need you to observe any show today, independent, AEW, WWE, and I need you to listen. Take heed to the audience and the way in which they react. They react. They genuinely react. I need you to return to the Attitude Era… and I need you to hearken to the audience and hearken to how they react, and tell me truthfully if anyone today can get the emotional response that those guys got during that day compared to today.”
“Plenty of newer people—they struggle to downplay the Attitude Era. ‘Oh, it doesn’t delay,’ all this. It’s like they struggle to persuade those who this thing that you simply remembered for a way awesome it was… yeah, well, it really wasn’t that good.”
“Wrestling was mainstream. They were on all of the late-night shows, the early morning shows… everybody knew who Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock were.”
“I’d never downgrade those generations or talk—I’d never try this. For those who take a look at the primary three years of WrestleMania, I feel that era of wrestling was even higher than the Attitude Era.”
