Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide is bringing back Verano de Escándalo this summer, and a brand new update has now revealed when fans can expect the large event to happen.
A brand new ticket listing on Mexican platform Boletomovil has effectively revealed the planned date for Lucha Libre AAA’s next Verano de Escándalo event.
The listing promotes AAA Verano de Escándalo at Arena San Marcos in Aguascalientes, Mexico, and shows a scheduled date of Saturday, July 25, 2026. This strongly suggests that AAA has locked in that weekend for its traditional summer special, regardless that the promotion has not yet issued a full match card or formal announcement.
WrestleVotes had previously reported that AAA is planning to carry Verano de Escándalo in late July, with July 28 because the leading date on the inner schedule. Furthermore, WWE and TKO have reportedly been involved in discussions around AAA’s major event calendar, especially with Triplemanía expanding right into a multi-night format this 12 months.
Last 12 months’s Verano de Escándalo took place on July 11 in Aguascalientes, Mexico, and featured El Ojo (Alberto El Patrón and El Mesías) vs. El Hijo del Vikingo and King Vikingo within the predominant event.
While AAA has yet to make an official public announcement confirming the cardboard or location, the most recent update suggests that fans is not going to must wait long before details are locked in and ticket plans move forward.
