An update has emerged regarding AJ Lee’s next WWE appearance.
Lee has not appeared on WWE programming since WrestleMania 42 (Night One), where she lost the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Becky Lynch. Lynch regained the title after defeating Lee of their highly anticipated championship showdown on the grand stage.
In keeping with the newest episode of WrestleVotes Radio, fans mustn’t expect Lee to return to WWE television within the immediate future. The report states,
“AJ Lee isn’t expected to return to WWE imminently.”
Following her WWE WrestleMania 42 loss, Lee reflected positively on the experience, calling it one in all the highlights of her profession and expressing gratitude to the fans who supported her throughout the years. She said,
“It’s been my favorite WrestleMania experience up to now. Perhaps my favorite match up to now. Despite the fact that I lost it, I got to have my family here. For lots of them, it was the primary time ever, and what I desired to do with that entrance was represent all of the fans who’ve been with me from day one; who’ve been wearing my outfits, my shirts and my shorts and my shoes and skipping together with me the entire way. That was for you. I really like you. I never got to say goodbye last time and I felt bad about that. So this shouldn’t be goodbye. But, I’ll see you soon. I hope.”
