She went on to reflect on what it has been like receiving a diagnosis later in life. She stated,

“[A]nyone late diagnosed will know the sensation… i’ve spent my whole life watching others discuss wanting to face out or be unique. meanwhile, all i ever wanted was to slot in.”

Kelley added that receiving answers about herself has been a strong experience. She said,

“After which that moment where all of it finally is smart. [T]hank you to everyone who reached out with kindness or encouragement. thanks for making me feel so welcomed, included and understood. i hope sooner or later i can return the favor.”

The heartfelt message was met with much more support from fans, a lot of whom praised Kelley for speaking openly about her diagnosis and helping others feel less alone in their very own journeys.
