There can be a Survival of the Fittest match to crown the following TBS Champion. Two qualifying matches happen tonight. Hikaru Shida will tackle Zayda Steel. Persephone looks to get even with Julia Hart after she misted her within the face. She’s going to face her in a qualifying match.
Ahead of her Owen Cup tournament semifinals match against Maya World, Athena can be in motion.
Death Riders and Shane Taylor Promotion have been feuding for the previous couple of weeks. After Taylor took out Wheeler Yuta last Saturday, he challenged Moxley to a match for the Continental Championship. After losing on “Dynamite”, STP attacked Moxley and brawled with Marina Shafir and Daniel Garcia. Garcia challenged them to a Cincinnati street fight.
On Wednesday, a vignette aired of Zack Sabre, Jr. difficult Kenny Omega for a match at Forbidden Door. Omega accepted and the match was made official. Tonight, Omega returns to motion against ZSJ’s TMDK stablemate, Bad Dude Tito.
A couple of weeks ago, The Dogs took out the present AEW tag team champions, Cope & Cage and the Young Bucks aren’t joyful about it. Each teams need to be the Number One contenders and so they’ll battle tonight.
During Kevin Knight’s match against “Speedball” Mike Bailey, he also needed to cope with DCF’s Jake Doyle. Tonight, the previous Deadlock Pro Wrestling tag team champions will face off. Knight will defend his TNT Championship against Myron Reed. The opposite members of The Rascalz, Desmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz can even be in motion.
Kenny Omega vs. Bad Dude Tito
Omega involves the ring first. Bad Dude Tito follows, accompanied by Mikey Nicholls.
They shook hands and Tito kicked him. He punched him against the ropes and slammed him to the mat. Omega gets in body shots and sends Tito to the mat. Tito rolled to the skin and took a crossbody. Tito sent Omega to the barricade, but Omega got a foot up. Tito suplexed him onto the ground and slammed him into the apron.
Tito punched Omega within the corner, did an Irish Whip, slammed him and followed with an exploder. They exchanged blows. Omega put Tito in a fireman’s carry and went for a moonsault, but Tito was ready. He hit an enzuiguri and a German Suplex. Tito followed by putting Omega on his shoulders, but Omega got down and so they exchanged blows again. Omega followed him and hit him with a knee and followed with a Snapdragon and a running knee and a pin attempt. Omega landed a V-Trigger and a One Winged Angel.
Winner: Kenny Omega
Omega said he would introduce the world to Zack Sabre, Jr. He said that ZSJ is one in all the best technical wrestlers on this planet. Zack will take him to the following level. He also told MJF it’s only a matter of time.
Hikaru Shida vs. Zayda Steel – Survival of the Fittest qualifying match
Shida involves the ring first. Steel followed, accompanied by Christopher Daniels.
They exchange blows as soon because the bell rings. Shida chopped Steel to the mat and kicked her in the top. She held her down and laid in punches. Shida sent her to the mat again. She sent Steel to the corner and rained down punches. Steel blocked a pick up attempt and did a tijares takeover. Steel uppercut her within the corner and followed with a knee. Steel with a snapmare takeover and a dropkick. Shida went to the skin and Steel did a baseball slide, but was caught. Shida hung her over the apron and connected with a running knee lift.
After the break, Steel took Shida down and laid down punches. She followed with an enzuirguri. Shida went to the skin and Steel connected with a tope. Back within the ring, she covered Shida for 2. Shida took her down with a knee lift. They exchanged blows. Shida laid in multiple forearms and punched her within the face. Shida sent her to the mat and pulled her up by the hair. Steel tried to lock in a standing koji clutch, but Shida powered out. Shida raked her eyes. Shida connected with a running knee and a pin attempt. Shida landed a modified Falcon Arrow and put her in a submission hold. Steel went to sleep. After the match, Shida would not let go and Daniels needed to get Steel away.

The Rascalz vs. Aaron & Austin Atlas
Xavier and Wentz come to the ring. Their opponents are already within the ring.
Xavier and Austin start us off. Austin put him in a side headlock and Xavier locked in one in all his own. Xavier with a headscissor takesdown. Wentz tagged in and landed an enzuigri and a Bronco Buster. Aaron got within the ring and got double teamed. The Rascalz did running splashes within the corner. They connect with Hot, Fire Flame for the win.
Winner: The Rascalz
After the match, Xavier said The Rascalz are the most popular trios in AEW. Wentz said it’s only fair Cincinnati gets to see all of them. They announce Myron Reed for his TNT title shot.
Reed comes out and so they embrace before Reed goes to the ring alone. Knight follows, accompanied by Don Callis.
Kevin Knight vs. Myron Reed – TNT Championship
Reed offers his hand and Knight refuses it. Knight forces him to the corner. Reed reverses and holds him within the corner. They do stand and switches. Knight took him down, but Reed nearly pinned him. KNight hits uppercuts and punches. Reed rolls to the apron. Knight was over the center ropes when Reed hit a leg drop. They dodge one another, but Reed takes Knight down. Reed rolls him up and Knight goes to the skin. Reed lept over the rope, but Knight got within the ring and charged on the ropes, but Reed caught him with a standing cutter over the center rope. Back within the ring, he pinned Knight for 2.
Knight chopped him within the corner. Reed reversed and chopped him repeatedly. Knight landed a Phenomenal Forearm on Reed. He followed with multiple punches. Knight with a scoop slam and one other pin attempt.
After the break, Reed rolled up KNight. He followed with a kick and bounced him off the rope and threw him. Each men are down. Reed kipped up and took Knight down twice. They hit stereo kicks. Reed with a thrust kick. Reed landed the Hang Five and pinned him. Knight went to the skin and dodged a tope attempt. Knight with a hurricanrana off the rope and followed with a tilt-o-whirl backbreaker and pinned for 2. Knight went up for the UFO Saksh, but Reed went up top and tried to send him down. KNight sent him to the ramp and climbed the ropes. Reed did a twisting cutter in midair. Reed did a flying cutter excessive rope. Reed landed one other on the opposite side of the ropes. Reed landed a 450 Splash within the ring.
Reed put him on his shoulder, but Knight escaped. He picked him up again,but Knight gouged him within the eyes. Reed with an armbar rollup. They dodged one another and Knight caught him with a dropkick and sidewalk slam for the win.

Athena vs. Tiara James
ATHENA cut a promo after a vignette aired from Maya World. Athena said she’s really sorry about her brother, but what about her and all her labor she puts in every week. She said simply because I taught you every little thing she knows, does not imply she’s taught her every little thing she knows. “Simply because you are ‘The It Girl’ does not imply you do not live in my world.”
Athena made her solution to the ring where James was waiting.
Athena punched her within the face and hit her within the back several times. James elbowed her within the gut twice. Athena did a running punch in two corners. She pulled James up by the hair and James fought her off. James rolled her up and followed with a backslide. She sent Athena to the mat and tried to pin her. Athena dropkicked her within the face and within the back off the apron. She followed with a tope suicida. Back within the ring, Athena picked her up and put her within the koji clutch until she tapped.
Winner: Athena
Following the match, Athena continued to attack James until Maya ran her off. Maya checked on James and Athena got here back and attacked Maya. She kissed her brow and slammed her face first into the mat. Athena said it was her time, not hers and punched her in the top.
The Dogs vs. Young Bucks
The Dogs got here to the ring first and the Bucks followed.
Finlay and Nick start us off. Finlay worked his arm. Nick with a side headlock and Connors tagged in. Finlay sent Connors to the skin. Nick sent Finlay out and landed a crossbody on them. Connors hit Nick and Finlay tagged in. Nick with an armdrag before the Bucks double teamed him. Matt kicked Connors through the ropes and so they took down Finlay. The Dogs tee off on the Bucks. The Bucks tee off on them. They slammed The Dogs right down to the mat.
The Dogs went to the skin after which as much as the ramp. Nick landed an assisted splash. Finlay dumped Matt into the ring and The Dogs landed running shoulder tackles on Nick on the ramp. Nick sent Finlay into Connors and knocked him off the apron. Finlay landed a backbreaker and Matt with a superkick on Connors after which one on Finlay. Matt ran across the ramp to land a crossbody on Finlay, who was against the barricade. On the skin, Finlay had Matt in a vertical suplex and Connors landed a running spear from the stage.
The Dogs got back within the ring and Nick threw Matt at 9. The Dogs landed a High Low on Matt and Finlay went for a pin attempt.
After the break, Finlay and Nick battled. Finlay landed a backbreaker. Cononrs sent Matt off the apron. Matt rolled up Finlay and suplexed Connors. He landed stereo Northern Lights. Nick tagged in and punched The Dogs repeatedly. Nick with a backboard drop on Finlay. He took them each down concurrently. He landed a crossbody on Connors for 2. Matt tagged in and so they double teamed Connors. Finlay grabbed Matt and dragged him to the corner, Nick with an assisted Sliced Bread. The Dogs are down when Matt landed an elbow and Nick landed a 450. The Bucks landed a double bandreas. They put them in double sharp shooters, but Connors got to the ropes.
The Bucks landed Superkicks on Connors. Connors caught one other attempt and made Nick kick Matt within the face. Connors pounced Nick into Matt. He charged at Nick, who jumped over him and Matt Superkicked him. Finlay took Nick out. The Bucks landed Superkicks on Finlay. Matt put Finlay over the rope and Nick jumped on his back, which sent Finlay into Matt for a powerbomb when Connors rolled Matt up for two.5. Nick superkicked Connors and so they landed the Indydriver on Finlay. Matt sent Finlay onto the ramp. The Bucks double teamed Connors and landed a BTE Trigger, but Finlay broke up the pin.
Nick sent Finlay to the skin. Finlay pulled Nick off the apron and threw him into the ringpost. He grabbed his shillelagh and hit Matt within the face when Connors shoved him to the rope. Connors speared Matt, but Nick broke up the pin. Nick punched The Dogs repeatedly after which hit their heads together. Connors speared him through the ropes. The Dogs connected with The Full Clip for the win.

We hear from Thekla
Thekla interrupted Tony Schiavone as he tried to apologize for her actions. Thekla told him to please shut his mouth and help her onto the announce desk. She said you had me, you fired me, and take a look at me now. Thekla said her spitting on the STARDOM logo was the very best thing that ever happened to them because everyone seems to be talking about them. She spit in her hand and said her saliva was price greater than the locker room before wiping it on Schiavone’s jacket. She issued an open challenge to someone from STARDOM for Forbidden Door and offered to fly Taro Okada top quality.
Julia Hart vs. Persephone – Survival of the Fittest qualifying match
Hart involves the ring first. Persephone follows.
Persephone charged at her and missed. Hart slapped her and Persephone sent her to the mat and hit her. She rolled her up. Persephone dodged her and Hart kicked her. Persephone took her down with an armdrag. Hart took her down. Persphone rolled her up with a bridge. Hart rolled to the skin and hugged the TBS title. Persephone charged at her, but Hart moved. Persephone put her on her shoulders and slammed her down onto the apron.
After the break, Persephone dropkicked Hart from the turnbuckle and pinned her for 2. Persephone picked her up and put her on her shoulders ,but Hart rolled her up. Hart tried to pin her again. Persephone went for the Crucifix Bomb again, but Hart got down. Persephone landed a shotgun dropkick. Hart poked Persephone in the attention. Persephone speared her. Hart climbed up the ramp and Persephone followed. She put Hart on her shoulders, but Hart fought out and went for her eye. Persephone landed a powerslam on the ramp. Hart rolled to the apron and poked her in the attention. Persephone slapped her and put her within the Crucifix Bomb for the win.

Speedball Mike Bailey vs. Jake Doyle
Speedball involves the ring first. Doyle follows and is accompanied by Knight. Knight joined commentary.
Doyle chest bumped Speedball when he got within the ring. The bell rang and Doyle sent him down. Speedball chopped and kicked him. Doyle took him down. Doyle caught Speedball. Speedball kicked him within the chest and took him down with a dropkick. Speedball took him down with a leg sweep on the apron. Doyle went to the skin and Speedball hit a moonsault. Speedball chopped Doyle repeatedly to the chair and landed multiple kicks and stared down Knight. Doyle sent Speedball into the ring. Speedball went for a hurricanrana and Doyle caught him midair and spun Speedball around and made him hit his head on the announce table and again on the apron.
After the break, Speedball landed Ultima Weapon on Doyle on the apron. Doyle grabbed Speedball by the throat, but Speedball slapped his arms. Speedball landed rolling knees on his chest and followed with a gamen giri. Doyle connected with a lariat. Speedball landed two kicks to the face. Doyle stepped on his foot and Speedball slapped his chest. Doyle took him down with a forearm. Speedball pulled Doyle off the turnbuckle and landed a powerbomb. Speedball landed a Shooting Star Press.
Speedball went for a spinning kick and Doyle connected with a rolling elbow. Doyle slammed him down. Doyle charged at a Speedball, who moved and Doyle slammed his face into the center turnbuckle. Speedball landed a spinning heel kick on Doyle. He followed with Ultima Weapon attempt, but Doyle moved and powerbombed him.
Winner: Jake Doyle
After the match, Doyle and Knight posed within the corner.
