India Women registered a commanding 64-run victory over Pakistan Women in Match 6 of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 at Edgbaston, Birmingham, on June 14. After being asked to bat first, India recovered from early setbacks through a vital 91-run partnership between vice-captain Smriti Mandhana and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur.
Mandhana starred with 68 runs off 44 balls, striking nine fours and two sixes, while Harmanpreet contributed 36. Richa Ghosh then provided a late flourish with a quickfire 34 off 17 deliveries, helping India post 170/6 of their 20 overs. In reply, Pakistan struggled to maintain up with the required rate despite opener Muneeba Ali’s fighting 41 off 35 balls.
