The Real Reason Why Tessa Blanchard Quit TNA Wrestling Revealed

Tessa Blanchard’s time with TNA Wrestling has officially come to an end.

On June 16, reports emerged that Blanchard had secured her release from TNA, with the promotion confirming her departure a day in a while June 17.

In recent months, Blanchard had been appearing more steadily for CMLL, resulting in speculation about her future with TNA. Now, the previous Knockouts World Champion has shed more light on her decision to maneuver on.

Speaking on CMLL Informa, Blanchard discussed the aspects behind her exit from TNA and explained why she felt it was the fitting time to pursue a special path in her wrestling profession. She said,

“The reality is, I even have received loads of messages from friends and news, and I haven’t replied to any of them yet. I need to sort things out and set the record straight today. Here, I even have a life, and I feel very blissful. The U.S. company (TNA) asked me, “Tessa, you could determine whether you’re a CMLL wrestler or a TNA wrestler.” I took my time to think it over with my dad, whom I trust very much. My life is here. I’m not only one other foreigner — I’m probably the most Mexican Gringa. I even have many goals to realize here, and I already reached the highest of the mountain. I won every thing over there, but here I even have many dreams and goals to pursue. I needed to focus my profession and my life here in Mexico, and from this moment on, I’m 100% with CMLL.”

Blanchard made her return to TNA Wrestling at TNA Final Resolution 2025. She parted ways with TNA in 2020 despite being the reigning TNA World Champion on the time after being accused of bullying and using racist language towards La Rosa Negra.
