Josh Hokit is continuous to face criticism for what he said at UFC Freedom 250.

Hokit repeated a baseless conspiracy theory regarding Michelle Obama, and he has been facing significant backlash online ever since.
Amongst those speaking out against the 28-year-old’s words was the UFC president. Dana White called Hokit’s remark “nonsense” in a written statement to TIME.
“I understand that the Obama’s are public figures,” White said.
“But I’m completely against saying nasty and false things about people’s families. Everyone knows my position on free speech but I hate that sort of nonsense.”
Hokit has brushed off criticism of his words on social media, and the newest big name to present the ex-American football player a grilling was Daniel Cormier.
“Josh Hokit made a comment within the Octagon after he won his fight — it was completely uncalled for,” Cormier said in a video on his YouTube channel.
“The comments he made just made no sense. It was unnecessary. He began his post-fight interview and was going to do certainly one of those gimmicky things — truthfully, it’s lame as f—.
“He stopped himself and did a (normal) interview. It was good. He could have left and he could have made more fans. They’d have gotten to see Josh Hokit.
“As an alternative, he goes and says the thing about Michelle Obama, who’s the classiest person you’ll ever meet,” he continued. “She has only represented herself, her family, and this country with grace and sophistication.
“That’s the variety of statement that divides… I absolutely hated that. He must do higher… There was no gain in Josh Hokit doing that. It was disgusting. Get it together dude.”

Hokit’s decision to make an uncalled-for joke concerning the former First Lady has definitely taken the shine off of his victory on the South Lawn of the White House.
He’s now 4-0 within the UFC and has risen to No. 4 within the heavyweight rankings.
